BA in Psychology at the University of Deusto, Bilbao; MSc in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience and PhD in Psychology at the University of Granada.

I am particularly interested in disentangling the cognitive and neural processes underlying the relationship between attention and conscious perception. On this topic, I have focused on testing the modulations of the executive control aspect of attention on visual conscious perception, both at the behavioral and the neural level (EEG).

I am also interested in brain organization in the normal and injured brain, and in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation. In this domain, I have focused on exploring attentional deficits in patients with confabulation syndrome, and on narrowing down the neuro-anatomical basis of confabulations, employing both voxel-based lesion-symptom mapping (VLSM) and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI).
