After completing the Master’s Degree in Cognitive and behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Granada, I had the opportunity to start my Ph.D. studies with a pre-doctoral fellowship for university teacher training (FPU) awarded by the Ministry of Universities of the Spanish Government.

My area of interest focuses on understanding the neural mechanisms of the processes of attention and conscious perception, with an emphasis on the role of the white matter in the inter-individual variability of these processes. To get a glimpse of this complex reality, I draw on methodologies such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI).
