From the Bibliomaker of the UGR Library we have installed a Bookcrossing point in one of the gardens of the Faculty of Sciences (Fuentenueva Campus) to facilitate and bring reading in the garden closer.

This point for the exchange of books arises as a result of the work and proposals made in the Laboratory/Workshop called Libraries: Gardens that was carried out and organized just last year from Bibliomaker. This proposal was aimed at the reuse of disused furniture that the different faculties and institutions store or discard, and that after a first selection, restoration and adaptation could be used as small libraries in which to exchange books and encourage reading in open spaces such as gardens.

We want this to be the first of the following points that we want to create to link the library and gardens.

“If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need”
