Nuestro Centro de Ecosistemas de Monta\u00f1a es un nodo prototipo de LifeWatch ERIC. El principal objetivo de LifeWatch ERIC es hacer avanzar la investigaci\u00f3n sobre biodiversidad y servicios ecosist\u00e9micos y aportar importantes contribuciones para abordar los grandes retos medioambientales a los que se enfrenta la Tierra, incluyendo soluciones basadas en el conocimiento para los gestores medioambientales y los actores locales en su preservaci\u00f3n. Los objetivos y acciones planteados en la propuesta est\u00e1n dirigidos a investigadores, gestores y ciudadanos en general.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La gesti\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis de la informaci\u00f3n generada ha sido llevada a cabo por equipos multidisciplinares formados por investigadores de la Universidad de Granada pertenecientes a diferentes disciplinas cient\u00edficas relacionadas con la biodiversidad, el cambio global, el big data y la inteligencia artificial, el desarrollo sostenible y la gobernanza del agua, en contacto directo con los responsables de la toma de decisiones, las comunidades locales y la ciudadan\u00eda en general. MEMOLab ha formado parte del proyecto a trav\u00e9s del paquete de trabajo 6.1 a trav\u00e9s del apoyo a los sistemas hist\u00f3ricos y tradicionales de riego de Sierra Nevada: con propuestas innovadoras en gobernanza, reconocimiento y apoyo al conocimiento ecol\u00f3gico local y potenciaci\u00f3n y mejora de los servicios ecosist\u00e9micos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Abstract:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The SMART ECOMOUNTAINS project proposes the study, conservation and provision of ecosystem services derived from biodiversity in the Sierra Nevada. Our Mountain Ecosystems Center is a prototype node of LifeWatch ERIC. The main objective of LifeWatch ERIC is to advance research on biodiversity and ecosystem services and provide important contributions to address the major environmental challenges that faces the Earth, including knowledge-based solutions for environmental managers and local stakeholders in their preservation. The objectives and actions outlined in the proposal are aimed at researchers, managers and citizens in general.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The management and analysis of the information generated has been carried out by multidisciplinary teams formed by researchers from the University of Granada belonging to different scientific disciplines related to biodiversity, global change, big data and artificial intelligence, sustainable development and water governance, in direct contact with those who make decisions, local communities and citizens in general.
