Sin embargo, seg\u00fan la teor\u00eda de fuerzas centrales, una c\u00f3nica parab\u00f3lica es la trayectoria de escape de la atracci\u00f3n gravitatoria. La aparente contradicci\u00f3n est\u00e1 en el tratamiento de la fuerza peso como una fuerza constante, por tanto no central. Adem\u00e1s, una elipse se puede aproximar a una par\u00e1bola en las cercan\u00edas de su \u00e1pside (apogeo).
