{"id":595,"date":"2025-11-03T17:17:44","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T16:17:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ugr.es\/seslab\/?p=595"},"modified":"2025-11-03T17:19:37","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T16:19:37","slug":"nuevo-articulo-del-ses-lab-en-construction-and-building-materials-el-papel-de-la-arcilla-en-la-resistencia-a-fractura-de-la-tapia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ugr.es\/seslab\/nuevo-articulo-del-ses-lab-en-construction-and-building-materials-el-papel-de-la-arcilla-en-la-resistencia-a-fractura-de-la-tapia\/","title":{"rendered":"Nuevo art\u00edculo del SES-Lab en Construction and Building Materials: el papel de la arcilla en la resistencia a fractura de la tapia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">El equipo del <span class=\"s1\"><b>Laboratorio de Estructuras Sostenibles (SES-Lab, Universidad de Granada)<\/b><\/span> acaba de publicar un nuevo art\u00edculo en la revista internacional <i>Construction and Building Materials<\/i> (Elsevier), en colaboraci\u00f3n con la <span class=\"s1\"><b>Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">El trabajo, titulado\u00a0<b>\u201cImpact of clay content on the fracture behavior of rammed earth: Experimental and nondestructive assessment\u201d<\/b><span class=\"s2\">,\u00a0<\/span>analiza c\u00f3mo el <span class=\"s1\"><b>contenido de arcilla<\/b><\/span> influye en el <span class=\"s1\"><b>comportamiento a fractura<\/b><\/span> de la <span class=\"s1\"><b>tapia no estabilizada<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">La investigaci\u00f3n aborda una cuesti\u00f3n clave: \u00bfc\u00f3mo afecta el porcentaje de arcilla a la capacidad resistente y a la ductilidad de los muros de tierra compactada?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Para responder a esta pregunta, se fabricaron distintas series de probetas con contenidos de arcilla entre el 25 % y el 100 % y se realizaron <span class=\"s1\"><b>ensayos de flexi\u00f3n a tres puntos<\/b><\/span>, siguiendo las recomendaciones internacionales para materiales cuasi-fr\u00e1giles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">De forma complementaria, se aplicaron <span class=\"s1\"><b>t\u00e9cnicas no destructivas (<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b>Free-Free Resonant Column (FFRC)<\/b><\/span> y <span class=\"s1\"><b>Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV))<\/b><\/span>\u00a0que permiten estimar propiedades mec\u00e1nicas sin da\u00f1ar el material, una herramienta especialmente \u00fatil para el estudio y conservaci\u00f3n del <span class=\"s1\"><b>patrimonio construido en tierra<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">El art\u00edculo ha sido realizado por <\/span><b>Fernando \u00c1vila<\/b><span class=\"s1\"> (UPV), <\/span><b>Ricardo Castro<\/b><span class=\"s1\">, <\/span><b>\u00c1lvaro Blanca-Hoyos<\/b><span class=\"s1\">, <\/span><b>Rafael Gallego<\/b><span class=\"s1\"> y <\/span><b>Esther Puertas<\/b><span class=\"s1\"> (UGR).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Forma parte del proyecto <\/span><b>VulTapia \u2013 Evaluaci\u00f3n de la vulnerabilidad estructural del patrimonio construido en tapia<\/b><span class=\"s1\">(C-ING-134-UGR23), financiado por la <\/span><b>Consejer\u00eda de Universidad, Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n<\/b><span class=\"s1\"> y el <\/span><b>Programa FEDER-Andaluc\u00eda 2021\u20132027<\/b><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-598\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ugr.es\/seslab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/125\/2025\/11\/Fractura2025.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"565\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ugr.es\/seslab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/125\/2025\/11\/Fractura2025.jpg 800w, https:\/\/blogs.ugr.es\/seslab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/125\/2025\/11\/Fractura2025-300x212.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ugr.es\/seslab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/125\/2025\/11\/Fractura2025-700x494.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><b>Referencia del art\u00edculo<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>\u00c1vila, F., Castro, R., Blanca-Hoyos, \u00c1., Gallego, R., &amp; Puertas, E.
