Mariagrazia Capizzi

I am a visiting post-doctoral fellow from the University of Montpellier (France), currently working with Drs. Pom Charras and Ana Chica on the relationship between spatial and temporal attention in the human brain. My main research interests range from temporal processes to executive functions. I am very passionate about the following questions: how does the human brain track the passage of time and how do we exploit predictions in the temporal domain? How do we manage to flexibly switch from one task to another and use executive functions to meet changing environmental demands? To address these questions, I use behavioral, EEG and TMS tools, but I have also assisted with fMRI, computational and neuropsychological studies.
