Rubén Molina Romero obtained a four-years degree in Optics and Optometry at the University of Granada (2012 to 2016), achieving the extraordinary prize to students with higher qualifications. He also conducted a Master course in Clinical Optometry at the University of Granada (academic course 2016/2017). In 2017, he was awarded with a Research and Teaching Predoctoral fellowship (FPU) at the University of Granada, where he was investigating the association between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and visual function. His investigation is developed in collaboration with specialists in the fields of Optometry and Neuropediatric.

In 2021, completed his PhD with a Cum Laude under the supervision of Dr. Raimundo Jiménez and Dr. Antonio Muñoz-Hoyos. During this, he worked on the project “Habilidades Visoperceptivas, Binoculares y Oculomotoras en niños diagnosticados de Trastorno por Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad (TDAH)”

Currently, he has co-authored more than 30 research articles, and has presented in National and International congresses. Rubén teaches in the degree in Optics and Optometry at the University of Granada, mainly in subjects related to clinical procedures in Optometry.
