Resumen:
El proyecto INCULTUM aborda los retos y oportunidades del turismo cultural con el objetivo de fomentar un desarrollo social, cultural y económico sostenible. Explora todo el potencial de las zonas marginales y periféricas cuando son gestionadas por las comunidades locales y las partes interesadas. Se adoptan enfoques participativos innovadores que convierten a la población local en protagonista. La participación y la colaboración se fomentan en los proyectos piloto de INCULTUM mediante:
– Entrevistas de percepción sobre los impactos positivos y negativos del turismo y las expectativas de la población local
– Propuestas participativas de iniciativas y gestión local de los recursos turísticos
– Debate colectivo sobre las posibles repercusiones de las nuevas intervenciones
– Recogida directa de datos sobre el terreno para análisis estadísticos y SIG
– Creación de materiales de difusión
– Creación de materiales educativos y de formación
– Creación de redes, comunicación interna y colaboración entre las partes interesadas para generar retornos e intercambios entre los distintos sectores
– Participación de las partes interesadas en la elaboración de recomendaciones políticas
Abstract:
The INCULTUM project deals with challenges and opportunities of cultural tourism with the aim of furthering sustainable social, cultural and economic development. It explores the full potential of marginal and peripheral areas when they are managed by local communities and stakeholders. Innovative participatory approaches are adopted, transforming locals into protagonists. Participation and collaboration are promoted in the INCULTUM pilot projects by:
– Perception interviews about positive and negative impacts of tourism and the expectations of the local population
– Participatory proposals of initiatives and local management of tourist resources
– Collective discussion about potential impacts of the new interventions
– Direct field data collection for statistical and GIS analysis
– Creation of dissemination materials
– Creation of educational and training materials
– Networking, internal communication and collaboration among stakeholders to generate returns and exchanges between different sectors
– Involvement of stakeholders in the preparation of policy papers
